Ace Hotel Ready to Welcome Visitors, and More From June

With new developments constantly being submitted to the City for approval, and cranes popping up or being lowered, construction never seems to stop in Toronto. We track all of this information on a daily basis with UrbanToronto Pro, and with this monthly feature we provide a roundup of projects where construction has started or those where occupancy has begun so we have marked them as complete.

Construction Starts

Here are the projects that have broken ground – or were preparing to – this past June:

Ace Hotel Toronto

The first Canadian site for this boutique hotel group is soon to open to paying guests. Designed by Toronto-based Shim-Sutcliffe Architects for Carbon Hospitality, Alterra, and ProWinko, the building features 130 rooms and a bar-restaurant.
